Some notes on equipment:

  • We have found that a footlocker is the best thing to use for storing personal gear while at summer camp, although in recent years many have been using the plastic Rubbermaid-type bins. As long as it is lockable it will be fine.
  • Make sure that your name and Troop number are on your equipment in case of loss.
  • Remember that we do not allow electronic games (Game Boy, et al) or mp3/cd players (iPod, et al) or the use of cell-phones on Troop 53 outdoor events. This includes summer camp!
