Summer Camp Information

Information for adults attending camp

Adults wishing to attend part or all of Summer Camp with Troop 53 must do the following:

  1. Be a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America.
  2. Complete Youth Protection Training. This can be done online at the National BSA website and takes about ½ hour.
  3. Pay the appropriate fee as follows:
    • For those with sons attending camp: Complete the part of the second page of your son's Summer Camp Permission and Fee Payment form indicating your attendance. Add that fee to the total owed to Troop 53.
    • For those without sons attending camp: Complete this form, print and turn in with appropriate fee.
  4. Complete and return by May 29 the Annual Health and Medical Record form. All participants, regardless of age must now have an annual physical from a medical professional. In addition, you may not staple a copy of another physical onto this form and have it count. Your doctor must use this form, although you could have him/her fill it out at the same time as another physical form for another use. As far as I know, vaccination records, prescription medicine lists, etc. may be stapled to the form.
